Behind every dream is a story, and HelloAara Kids Gallery Inc. began with one little girl’s smile.
My name is Shanika Nilukshi, President and Owner of HelloAara Kids Gallery Inc. I hold an MBA from Wrexham Glyndŵr University, UK, and my professional career has always been in accounting and finance. My world was filled with numbers, reports, and business operations,but deep inside, I always dreamed of creating something more personal, creative, and meaningful.
After moving to beautiful Chilliwack, British Columbia, our family discovered a new chapter of life surrounded by nature, peace, and community. We spent weekends exploring hiking trails across BC, travelling together, listening to music, and enjoying simple family moments. Music has always connected our family in a special way. My daughter Aara loves singing and playing the guitar, and our home is often filled with laughter, songs, and creativity.
One day, I noticed something very special.
Whenever I surprised Aara with a colorful backpack, a fancy lunch box, or a cute school accessory, her entire face would light up with excitement. Those small gifts gave her so much happiness, confidence, and motivation. Watching her joy made me realize how powerful little things can be in a child’s world.
That moment planted the seed for HelloAara.
I wanted to create a brand that could bring that same magical feeling to other children,a place where kids could feel excited, inspired, confident, and happy through beautifully designed products made just for them.
What started as a mother’s observation soon became a family dream.
Today, HelloAara Kids Gallery Inc. is more than just a children’s brand. It is a reflection of our family values, our creativity, our love for childhood happiness, and our belief that even the smallest things can create the biggest smiles.
